Nature of the Site

This is an independent reference site with no government authority. It stores no official jail, court, or corrections records and cannot verify custody, release a person, or file a request or court paper for a visitor.

Its content directs readers to Coffey County inmate and release resources, Kansas agency portals, and independent research tools. Each originating office controls its own records.

Acceptable Use Rules

Users must act lawfully and avoid conduct that harms people or the service.

• Do not violate a law through use of the site.
• Do not stalk, threaten, or harass another person.
• Do not use content for employment, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not seek access to accounts, servers, or data without authorization.

No Consumer Reporting Services

Coffey County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not issue credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. Its advertising partners do not provide FCRA screening services through this site. Users agree not to use information found here for:

• hiring, firing, or other employment action;
• tenant selection or another housing decision;
• creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing;
• licenses, permits, or government-program eligibility; or
• any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected term will be adjusted only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable.
